The premise- Amy, an NYC food writer, and self-proclaimed non-cook, hosts a web series where she attempts to demonstrate to those fellow non-cooks how to, yup, cook. And occasionally she'll have guest appearances by professional chefs, restauranteurs, and other notable artisans of the kitchen sharingvtheir favorite snacks. Amy invited me to bake with her, and now: The Scootabaker on Stupidly Simple Snacks with Amy Cao.

Stupidly Simple Snacks: Coconut Macaroons

The Scootabaker
This video was many years in the making. Well, it took 20 minutes to make, but the friendship with Amy Cao started almost two years ago on Twitter. Thank you Twitter! Amy is a pretty popular food blogger in New York City. Not that she would boast so, but it was pretty evident when I met up with her on a recent trip to NYC. People stopped in their tracks to gush that they were avid viewers of her "Stupidly Simple Snacks" videos. But I understood because it was her quirky, honest, and totally laugh-out-loud "cooking" videos on YouTube that made me a fan those two years ago.
